Temat: remote work in CakePHP, 2-3 months

We are looking for a freelance PHP developer to join a team of remote developers for our client, a web publishing company. The initial project duration will be 2-3 months, on a full time basis, but for the right person there is a very strong chance for a long term relationship. Requirements:

Strong foundation in computer science
At least 3 years of professional experience in PHP, especially CakePHP framework
Good knowledge of SQL, in particular MySQL
Ideall full-stack developer, but seeking strong backend experience
Good command on English written and spoken

Examples of upcoming work:

website data integration with Amazon CloudSearch
website redevelopment from Java Server Pages to CakePHP
custom coding for Joomla based sites
using Jenkins for site unit-testing
using Splunk for multi-site log monitoring & penetration reporting

Payment terms:

Hourly rate - depends on experience
Paid every four weeks, based on client-approved time sheets
