Lead Design Engineer - New Mid-market Engine
New Mid-market Aircraft Engine (NMA) - GE brand new engine to fill up gap in the Boeing fleet (Boeing 797)
- NMA HPC Rotor design and analysis execution using suitable engineering principles and internal standards,
- Technical support to personel across all the function supporting the assigned project,
- Participation as a presenter or reviewer in technical and program reviewes,
- Mentor and technical leader for less experienced engineers within the development engineering teams,
- Responsibility for immediate solutions for short term corrections to prevent any impact to business goals.

- Supported GE Manufacturing Shops to expedite "On Time" part deliveries for CT7/T700 HPC & LPT Modules.
- Introduced innovatory design changes and long-term corrective actions to eliminate reported production issues. Increased production efficiency by 40% over previous arrangement.
- Assessed process change risk, cost impact, overlap plan, source data that resulted in significant cost savings from GE Aviation perspective.
- Participated Action Workout at Familiar Overhaul Shops to review the scraped parts and establish appropriate repair procedures. The updated Engine Shop Manual Inspections and Repair Procedures significantly reduced observed engine/part scrap rate.
- Coordinated a cross-functional Team (SPMT, Aerodynamics, Aeromechanics, MAE, Life Management Group, etc.) to develop a reliable solutions and drive the proposed product developments.
- Supported CT7/T700 Fleet Engine to provide technical assistance during field investigations.
