Job Description

The primary responsibility of the Lync Expert is to design and troubleshoot Unified Communications (OCS, Lync Server) solutions in both medium and large environments. The area of expertise involves knowledge and experience in several technical areas, mainly: MS Unified Communications solutions (Office Communications Server and Lync Server), MS Windows Server, Networking and VOIP.

Main duties involve:

providing consultancy services towards Atos Customers
liaising with experts from other technical areas
troubleshooting complex incidents
design and deployment of Lync Server solutions
technical expertise in bid process

Lync Expert	Requirements
General skills	Technical skills: - Experience in designing and deploying Microsoft Lync Server 2010, Lync 2013 solutions - Strong troubleshooting skills across MS Unified Communications platform - Advanced knowledge of SIP and other VoIP protocols - Good working knowledge of Microsoft Windows Server 2003/2008/2012 Soft skills: - Responsibility and reliability - Ability to remain calm, and perform under pressure, - Good organization of work and time management, multitasking - Ability to work in a team and in a multinational environment
Languages	English: Intermediate
Skills and competencies in (one or more)	- Network and security foundations - Active Directory, DNS, PKI, Microsoft SQL, MS Clusters, - PowerShell (ability to automate tasks using scripts) - VoIP foundations including audio codecs - Microsoft Exchange solutions (with focus on Unified Messaging) - Lync SBA solutions
