For our client, global production company, we are currently looking for a person interested in Accounts Receivable Accountant role with fluent Italian knowledge.

The ideal candidate will have 2+ years of relevant credit/collections/deductions experience. Preferred candidate must have background in corporate credit/collections, banking, or finance as well as a history of accomplishments in the field from strong negotiation skills with detailed reconciliation result. The incumbent will be responsible for performing the credit management, collections and deductions activities. He/she will focus on customer credit analysis, customer collections and evalutaing and resolving deductions within the local business.

Responsibilities:

• perfomorming customer credit analysis to recommend customer credit limits, peyment terms and risk classes
• analysis of customer payment history and account balances
• generating past due notices to customer
• escalating collection issues and assessing and recommending escalated issues for write offs
• generating and preparing periodic statements for customers
• monitoring customer perfomance versus payment commitments
• reviewing customer deductions and matchingf with the supporting documents
• matching and settling rebates
• clearing credit notes 
• issuing customer credit notes
• resolving and reviewing customer deductions

Requirements:

• bachelors Degree in Finance, Accounting, or Economics
• at least 2 years of experience in Collections, Deductionś or Credit Management
• energetic, detailed oriented, able to adhere deadlines on a timely manner
• strong communication skills for negotiation & reconciliation
• fluent knowledge of English and Italian is a must
• microsoft Excel and Word proficiency required, SAP plus.
