Senior AUTOSAR Software Engineer

Responsibilities:

Software design / architecture creation and review. Develop, test and release AUTOSAR compliant SW modules. Support team of SW Architects. Configuration and integration of AUTOSAR, non-AUTOSAR and 3rd party software modules. Create requirements for developing of Eclipse plug-ins. Work with AUTOSAR tools. Develop / grow AUTOSAR knowledge in the team by coaching and training other engineers. Evaluate and select AUTOSAR tools in close cooperation with global engineering team and purchasing. Provide support in area of AUTOSAR to external TRW customers (OEMs) and other TRW engineering departments.

Required Skills:

degree in software, electronics, computer science or similar
good English skills (German will be an advantage);
good understanding of microcontroller architectures;
good understanding of electronic circuits;
knowledge of C language as well as basics of assembler;
knowledge of UML (+ tools like Rhapsody / Enterprise Architect);

Desirable Skills:

knowledge of object oriented programming;
knowledge of Java, C++ language;
knowledge of project management principles;
experience in AUTOSAR architecture, methodology and tools;
knowledge of automotive electronics product development;
knowledge of software development lifecycle models;
knowledge of standards like SPICE, CMM/CMMI, ISO 26262;
experience with auto-code generation techniques and tools;
