Service Manager

For our growing Information Systems Delivery Center located in Krakow we are currently looking for candidates for a position of Service Manager.

Tasks:

Ensure that the application services being provided to customers are aligned to the customers’ needs;
Establish a working relationship with customers, understanding their need for IT application services, and managing the introduction of new services, service improvements;
Ensure proper governance by participating to Steering Committee meetings and by leading Reference Team;
Define and agree the strategy based on the input from the main stakeholders and personal vision of the system in the future;
Manage the quality of application services in scope by negotiating, monitoring, and maintaining Service Level; Manage the service delivery team: operations, release and change management and roll-out support including also external suppliers;
Manage the budget and control actual spend;
Communication to stakeholders, including news, announcements and metrics reporting;
Cooperation with other Service Managers and alignment other existing and planned application services;
Manage and lead the project team in case of larger changes in the application.

Requirements:

Master's in technical or business discipline, or equivalent experience;
IT Professional with 3yrs+ experience, demonstrated experience in successfully running services and/or projects;
Fluent spoken and written English;
Team leadership and good facilitation and consensus building skills required;
Good working knowledge of infrastructure and application architecture;
Experience working in a multi-national organization and having good cultural sensitivity awareness;
Thorough knowledge of IT service management concepts (ITIL);
PMP, Prince2 or equivalent will be a plus.
