IS Core Platform Tower Service Coordinator in EME

Ensures and optimizes the day-to-day delivery of IS Core Platform Services within the Europe, Middle East and Africa time zone area. This position is based in the EMEA time zone. Please refer to the 'additional information' section for further guidance.

Tasks:

Ensures performance of IS Tower Services by monitoring the execution of the operational service processes (such as incident management, request fulfillment, change management and complaint management) by internal and external suppliers;
Coordinates, in support of Service IS Supply Integration SMEs, the resolution of major incidents and communicates with all involved participants about the status within Tower Control and Support;
Initiates trend analyses of incidents, and ensures detection and validation of problem suggestions, with support from relevant IS Tower SME(s). Ensures problems are assigned to the correct IS Supply resolver group;
Approves any business case associated with a problem resolution. Ensures problem resolutions are approved/rejected by relevant Tower SME(s);
Ensures that internal and external suppliers are maintaining the ABB's CMDB (Configuration Management Database) as per the standards in the knowledge management process;
Orchestrate the delivery of IS services within the allocated technologies and between the Towers;
Maintain a daily cooperation with global Vendors and work with them to ensure service level targets are met;
Supervision of tickets distribution for major incidents and problems.
Provide suggestions for process improvement and assist in implementing changes;
- Suggest and evaluate business case for changes across different services.

Requriments:

BSc degree with 5+ years of hands-on experience in IT infrastructure service on a large enterprise scale;
Deep knowledge of Microsoft operating systems (servers), Active Directory, Office 365, Lync;
Experience in running and supporting Microsoft SharePoint for mission critical applications and as collaboration platform;
Experience in designing and running Active Directory in a complex large environment;
Experience in User authentication processes, tools and security on a large scale;
Will be required to periodically work shifts incorporating either an early start or late finish;
Good command of English;
Cultural awareness and the ability to work in a complex, multicultural and global team;
Great team player;
Result driven problem solver;
Strong leadership and communication skills.

There is no mandatory base location for this position. The location of this position is flexible and can be based out of any ABB site.
