Tasks:

This position incorporates the accountabilities of direct reports.

- Solutions

Acts as the operational head of the team that drives the overall IS Run Asset Management lifecycle.
Ensures optimization of IS asset utilization during the lifecycle.
Maintains IS asset administration and proactively develops plans to effectively manage the IS asset lifecycle from a commercial perspective.
Leads the overall IS Run asset management lifecycle to ensure efficient and effective management of the IS estate and support IS related financial and commercial decisions.
Escalates issues as required to the Global IS Operational Supply Manager.

- IS Delivery

Manages the team responsible for the IS Run asset management lifecycle for ABB IS Run services, ensuring that ABB fulfils its legal, statutory and audit requirements in relation to asset use.
Ensures delivery of a CMDB and asset register that is accurate, effectively controlled and updated to support efficient and effective management of the IS estate and IS related financial and commercial decisions.
Identifies potential for asset management lifecycle improvements and facilitates actions in the relevant parts of Global Services Delivery and Global Technology Operations.

- Stakeholder Management

Ensures satisfaction with the asset management lifecycle by understanding expectations, and verifying that actions are taken to close any gaps.
Manages relationships with Head of Global IS Technology Operations, Global IS Tower Services Manager, Global IS Service Delivery & Assurance Manager, Global IS Service Design & Introduction Manager, Global IS EUS Manager, Global IS Vendor Manager and local IS support team leads to maintain collaboration, resolve issues, and manage expectations.

- Incident, Change or Project

Deals with and provides input for any incident, change or project which has, or might have, a major impact on area of responsibility.

- Processes

Ensures the IS Asset SMEs in the respective time zone areas perform their assigned activities in the service catalog management process are followed by IS Asset SMEs in the respective time zone areas and that they support optimized IS service delivery.

- IS Standards

Proactively develops and maintains strategic objectives and targets for Asset Management team and supports a standardized way of working globally.

- Budget

Manages and is accountable for overall adherence to Asset Management budget, reporting into the Operational Supply Management Budget

- HR

Ensures (with HR manager support) that the area of responsibility is properly organized, staffed, skilled and directed.
Guides, motivates and develops direct and indirect subordinates within HR policies.
Manages direct reports, including performance management, total reward and development: IS Asset SME(s) in the respective time zone areas.

- Governance

Adheres to process framework and governance model.
Acts as the point of escalation and arbitration any asset management lifecycle issues.

- ABB IS EA and IS Strategy

Supports the implementation of IS Strategy and the ABB IS Enterprise Architecture.

Requriments:

Competence in spoken and written English;
Cultural awareness and the ability to work in a complex, multicultural and global team;
Be a committed team player;
Previous experience of managing large and diverse teams;
Experience IS Asset Management required;
Experience in managing supplier performance at leadership level;
Ad-hoc international travel;
BSc with 6+ years of experience.
