BI QA Engineer

Location: Kraków

Region: małopolskie

Responsibilities:

Testing of Business Intelligence processes, data bases and ETL tools
Tests environments preparation
Planning and estimating tests workload in cooperation with business analyst, programmers and technical writers
Test cases creation
Test results and status reporting
Test automation

Requirements:

Good Knowledge of SQL and Oracle/MS SQL databases
Minimum one year of experience in BI solutions testing
Understand the solution domain and test the correctness of the Business Intelligence components (data transformation, reports, dashboards);
Knowledge of XML
Familiarity with Windows Server technologies
Knowledge of software creation methodology and tools supporting testing
Experience in software testing and programming will be an asset
Ability to prioritize tasks and to work effectively under pressure
Independence, responsibility, and diligence
Excellent communication skills and good team spirit
Adaptability, ability to learn fast
Master's degree in the related field, preferably Computer Science or Information Technology
Very good command of English (speaking and writing)

Additional assets:

C#, Java Script knowledge
Knowledge of CSS, OOP, NUnit, MS Visual Studio, Selenium, CodedUI
Experience in test automation
