Credit Risk Manager

MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES

• Establishing credit limits and assigning risk ratings/codes for new/existing customers and preparing risk analyses for advance payments.
• Performing vendor risk analyses for assigned business units.
• Releasing blocked orders at assigned approval matrix level.
• Managing distressed customers/vendors for assigned business units.
• Providing risk management guidance to reduce bad debts or business disruption.
• Ongoing monitoring of assigned customers/vendors.
• Providing quarterly customer updates to management.
• Performing bad debt and DSO forecast plus cash flow analysis for assigned business units.
• Customer/Vendor visits as needed.
• Reviewing the Aged Trial Balances for assigned business units.
• Working with the business unit sales teams to assist in managing customer relationships.
• Completing assigned OGSM's including leading small to medium projects.
• Backing-up US counterparts.
• Ad-hoc requests including those requiring SAP data mining ability.

CANDIDATE PROFILE

• Equivalent of Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business or related field required.
  
• Strong international financial statement analysis abilities required. 
  
• Relevant credit management experience.
  
• SAP or ERP system knowledge preferred. 
  
• Strong Interpersonal skills to navigate through multiple cultures.
  
• Demonstrated ability of being a dynamic self-starter, to work independently and apply sound judgment to solve complex problems required.
  
• Flexibility to travel and adjust work schedule as needed.
  
• Fluent in English required. French and Spanish language skills preferred.
