Main Responsibilities:

• Create and manage OSD Task Sequences


• Generate and maintain updates to OS .wim, OSD Boot Media .wim


• Importing OS .wim, boot media .wim/.iso into SCCM


• Generating standalone OSD Task Sequences for use with USB or DVD


• Provide technical support to fellow team members, and global IT Staff for system deployment issues and OSD Processes


• Support system deployment processes located at hardware vendor facilities


• Meeting with Corporate staff located in the United States on a weekly basis, and as need/required for critical issues


• Manage service incidents and requests using ServiceNow


• Ability to work within a team and independently


• Flexible work hours

Requirements:

Systems management and deployment tools:

• Microsoft System Center Configuration Manager (ConfigMgr aka SCCM)


• Microsoft Deployment Toolkit (MDT)


• 1E Nomad (desired, not required)


• Deployment Image Servicing and Management (DISM)


• Windows Pre-installation Environment (WinPE) (desired, not required)


• USMT (desired, not required)


• DaRT (desired, not required)

Programming and scripting languages, and command-line systems management tools:

• Powershell


• Microsoft Visual Basic Scripting (VBScript)


• Windows Management Instrumentation Command-line (WMIC)


• HTML

In depth familiarity with Windows Image Format (WIM) and its usage and manipulation within ConfigMgr (SCCM) and MDT including but not limited to:

• OSD Task Sequences


• SCCM Applications and Packages for OSD Task Sequences


• Generating OS .wim via MDT


• Generating OSD boot media using DISM and SCCM


• Generating OSD offline media using SCCM


• Importing .wims into SCCM


• PXE Boot


• WinPE Drivers (storage, NIC)
