Engineering Project Manager
Dowty Propellers
In my EMP role I am responsible for number of engineering projects ranging from internal process improvement initiatives focused on legacy product processing and FTY improvements, through heading the existing Propeller system integration with new aircraft, to being a part of NGTP (New Generation TurboProp) team focused on developing new generation propulsion system.
As EPM in its core I am leading integration of existing R408 propulsion system with new Antonov light cargo aircraft AN132D. Acting as a focal point in between customer technical team and internal engineering department I am coordinating efforts across the board and manage communication making sure we are aligned with the program commercial operations and contractual requirements. I am responsible for delivery against technical SOW, following internal tollgate and CEO technical review processes.
On the other side I am working on legacy programs yield, processing time and quality initiatives investigating and introducing latest technologies (i.e. ultrasonic knife, water jet) to replace manual operations, introducing more consistency and improving EHS. New technologies are also strongly aligned with underwriting digital thread, brilliant factory and data capture.
As a part of NGTP team I was solely responsible for set-up of off-line blade production cell that would allow the team to prototype new concepts and try new materials as well as to produce novel designs with no impact onto our production line assuring IP protection and compliance.
New concepts needs to be tested and that is another area of my cross-functional involvement. As a project manager I am coordinating efforts in between Engineering, Development Test, NGTP and facilities maintenance, scoping out the Spin Rig refurbishment project. Project is focused not only on improvement of controls for two DC motors jointly producing 3000 shp, dating from WWII, but also on introducing additional testing and instrumentation capability into test cell.

Customer Quality Engineer
As a customer quality engineer I am responsible for management of quality interface with key customers - my efforts resulted in significant improvement of scorecard for Lockheed Martin (improvement from 74% to 93%) and achieving and maintaining Gold status with Bombardier.
My key focus initially was around improvement of customer complaints and product returns processes. I contributed to significant TAT reduction and simplification through running AWO that resulted in assigning ownership, clarification of expectation and elimination of redundant tasks.
More recently I became the focal point for TipQA implementation on site in support for new ERP roll-out. I am project managing development & implementation of three modules through cooperation with business process owners, IT project manager and quality team. I am assuring compliant and structured strategy that will not only deliver against system requirements but that will also provide simplification benefits to the current processes and that will leverage best practices from other businesses.
My role also requires managing quality escapes and coordination of recovery efforts across the supply chain what proves my ability to multi-task, prioritise, delegate and to work under extreme pressure.
Qualified as lead auditor I completed number of internal audits and followed up on successful implementation and verification of corrective actions. I was also supporting third party audits (i.e. CAA, AS9100 rev C, customer and MOD). Responsible for contractual quality requirements review.
