Organizacje:: 01/05 – Divisional QA Manager (Management Systems) ColepCCL
Following the merger of CCL Industries Ltd with Colep I was appointed as Divisional QA Manager to co-ordinate the activities of the Contract Operations Division of the new company. This entailed ensuring the five sites across Portugal, UK and Poland all worked to the same certified systems. As head of Managements Systems I looked after Quality Assurance, Health Safety & Environment, Legislation and GMP for the Division. This covered all aspects of ISO9001:2008, ISO14000, etc. The sites manufactured aerosols, liquids pharmaceuticals and contract packaging of household and cosmetics

10/97 – 01/05 Quality Assurance Manager, CCL Industries Ltd
Following internal re-organisation I was appointed to QA Manager. This includes responsibility for all quality related activities on site. E.g. Goods inward inspection, Laboratory, QA Department, Calibrations, ISO 9001:2000 activities, Customer Audits, Medicines Control Agency (now MHRA) Audits, supplier audits, etc. etc. It is a wide-ranging role that requires face-to-face consultations with legal entities, customers and suppliers.

01/92 – 10/97 Laboratory Manager, CCL Industries Ltd
I joined CCL Industries to develop and manage the laboratory as the factory volumes increased. The company contract manufactured primarily aerosol cosmetic products but also had a number of licensed pharmaceuticals too. The laboratory covered all aspects of Quality Control of the materials and finished goods.

08/77 – 01/92 Reckitt & Colman Ltd
During my 15 years at Reckitt & Colman Pharmaceutical Division. I held a variety of positions in the Quality Control function. This ranged from Junior Laboratory Technician when I first started to Laboratory Supervisor when I left. My final task before leaving was to design and set up a laboratory in the production environment for analysis of liquid products ranging from antiseptics to sterile solutions.

Inne:: I have worked for my entire professional career in the Quality arena. My base qualifications are in chemistry with specific training in applied analytical chemistry. As my roles changed I broadened my management skills with courses in administrative management and culminating in a post graduate Certificate in Improvement Management at Hull University. I currently have responsibilities across sites in Poland, Portugal, Germany and the UK coordinating the QA, HS&E and legislative activities.

I have experience in the following techniques: Manufacture and filling of liquids, creams, powders, sterile products, tablets and aerosols. I am also familiar with the manufacture of aerosol and other metal containers, injection moulding, blow moulding, glass component manufacture, printing and card industry.
