Scope of responsibility:
 Order Assembly and Shipping process for Polish market at Avon’s Home Delivery System (12000-16000 orders/boxes daily); managing 250 employees team (3 directly reporting supervisors, 20 specialists and leaders, 230 workers)
Achievements:
 operational cost reduction by 17% within 1 year - Leadership Award for savings (representatives orders being delivered timely and with good condition)
 quality increase – Perfect Order Rate improvement from 55,64% to 63,46% and than to 67,85%, Picking Error Rate improvement from 0,08 to 0,04 (units)
 staff turnover below 2% per annum


INVENTORY CONTROL:

Scope of responsibility:
 managing of demands, operational forecast, finished goods and inventory for 1200 SKUs
 co-operation with 4 European manufacturing plants (UK, Germany, Italy and Poland)
 managing of inactive inventory levels in seven distribution centers in Central and Eastern Europe (Poland, Russia, Ukraine, Hungary, Romania, Lithuania and Kazakhstan)
Achievements:
 reduction of inventory level from 90 to 65 Life in Days within 1 year while keeping service to Avon Representatives at high level; cash flow improvement rewarded with Distinctive Award in 2000
 establishing and continuous improvement of demand planning system and creation of early warning process - Trendsetter
 reduction of inactive inventory level in 7 Central Eastern European distribution centers by 6% vs. plan in 2005


WAREHOUSING:

Scope of responsibility:
 high storage warehouse (8500 pallet spots); just-in-time replenishment supply to the order assembly line; return goods; managing of 36 employees
Achievements: creation of the Cycle Counting Procedure
 keeping discrepancy error below 2% after annual Wall to Wall inventory count, three years in a roll
 warehouse relocation from one location to another (70 km) and providing just-in-time service from two locations in parallel


PROJECTS MANAGEMENT:

 Leading Relocation Project (09/2000-05/2001) – transfer of the product supply, demand management and warehouse operations from one location to another (Warsaw to Garwolin, 70 km). Successful execution of the project under difficult management circumstances; providing high service from two locations in parallel, having two different stock location and demand management systems; Project rewarded with BPR Breakthrough “Being Best” for the Team as well as individual Chairman’s Award in 2001

 Leading and successful implementation of the project of relocation product supply operations to countries like Saudi Arabia, United Arab Emirates, Israel, Northern Cyprus, Southern Cyprus, Island, Afghanistan, Pakistan and Turkey. Operations transferred from Northampton (UK) to Garwolin (Poland). Project implemented within the scope of objectives, time and budget and with maintaining high service to the customers.
