FARM HARVEST MANAGER - J.J. Molyneux & Sons, Liverpool (June 96 – Sep 99)

 Family Business - Fresh Produce Farm.
 Role included all field preparation, crop preparation, crop management and harvest management.
 Crops included various Brassicas, Parsnips, Leeks, Potatoes and Peas.

PRODUCT TECHNOLOGIST - Minor, Weir & Willis Ltd, Birmingham (June 03 – Present)

 One of the largest importers and distributors of Fresh produce in the UK
Duties Included:
 Management of a large QA Team
 Control of Quality Management System (BRC) and all associated procedures.
 Responsibility for all Premium and Exotic vegetables from arrival at MWW through to despatch to customer and control of all Product specifications
 Customer Facing Role – Main Technical point of contact for ASDA, Sainsbury’s, Morrisons, Somerfield and The Co-operative accounts.
 Fronting Customer and 3rd Party Audits of the factory and packhouse.
 Dual role. Encompassed MWW supply to the UK Government sector. As SFVS Product Technologist. Main Technical point of contact for the Government funded School’s Fruit and Vegetable Scheme.
 Previous position as Ripening Technologist. Day to day management of all exotic fruit at MWW and the ripening of Mangoes, Avocados and Papaya.
 Auditing growers overseas and in the UK.
 Ongoing product development trial work. Product longevity and improvement. Waste reduction. New product development.
 Internal and External presentation work.
 Main deputy for Technical Manager in his absence. Attending meetings and managing all daily aspects of his job.
