As an Associate at Colliers International I am responsible for preparing sites prior to the commencement of construction works to plan projects and ensure that they meet agreed specifications, budgets and timescales and to oversee building work.

Responsibilities:
• Supervising construction projects from beginning to end, ensuring that projects are completed within time and budgetary constraints.
• Controlling the time, cost and quality of construction projects.
• Planning and coordinating all aspects of the construction process, including hiring contractors and working with engineers, architects and vendors.
• Negotiating contracts with architects, vendors, contractors and other workers.
• Obtaining building permits and other permits from local authorities.
• Resolving problems arising from site works to ensure that projects are completed according to schedule.

As an Electrical Engineer at BuroHappold I worked closely with civil engineers, architects and engineering technicians to ensure projects are delivered on time and within budget. I was involved in major projects in Germany such as the Polish Embassy in Berlin and Zalando, as well as projects in Poland such as Koszyki Hall, Holland Park, Q22, Spark, Aleja Pokoju 5, Chmielna Bussiness Centre 1,2 and 3- the tallest building in Poland (310m high).

My responsibilities were:
• Designing electrical and low-voltage installations for commercial and retail buildings.
• Preparing electrical documentation according to Polish, German and European standards.
• Making electrical calculations.
• Representing the company at meetings with clients, architects and subcontractors.
• Preparing projects from concept design to executive design stage.
• Solving issues arising from building works progress at author’s supervision stage.

• Supervising the quality of subcontractors’ work.
• Cooperating with investor representatives, architects, MEP engineers and technical team.
• Attending meetings on site.
• Reading electrical design specifications and technical drawings.

• Participating in negotiations with subcontractors and suppliers.
