Major activities:
• To report in the timely, accurate and complete manner financial data to customers and all external parties involved in the financial data management (Corporate Control, PD management)
• To reconcile BCS Opening Balance Sheet, YTD data on BU level
• To ensure the timely, sufficient solutions for open Peregrine tickets within the defined scope for BCS Central team
• To provide proper support for BCS users Key users and controllers
• To report BCS financial, statistical data according to Corporate Control and PD management requirements
• Quality assurance of the consolidated figures of Philips;
• Support the country and product division organizations with all accounting & reporting issues (i.e. support them with implementation of BCS system);
• Performance measurement and monitoring of reporting organizations, including addressing shortcomings;
• Compliance monitoring on correct use of Philips Accounting Principles (US GAAP/IFRS);
• Be involved in improvement projects related to SAP R/3 and SAP SEM;

Major activities:
• Helping teams of each department (AP, AR, GL, Banking) that requests for help.
• Reducing of backlog that appears or may appear because of unexpected sick leaves of team members, holidays and that appear because of incidental peaks that may occur usually in MEC.
• Support teams after migration and new comers especially in Month End Closing activities
• Share knowledge to the best practises around ESC to support efficiency.

• GL document processing and verification,
• MEC activities,
• Maintenance and reconciliation of chart of accounts
• VAT and Intrastat reporting,
• Internal reporting (ICS’s KPI’s )
• Bank monitoring and reconciliation
