• Creating processes and tools to improve quality of machine translation improving thus GMV of the company

• Solving problems with translation reported by customers
• Assessing quality of machine translation and proposing improvements to Natural Language Processing (NLP) Team responsible for MT development

• Translating, localizing, reviewing and proofreading in English-Polish language pair (software UI, user documentation, IT hardware, electronics, automotive, marketing, corporate documents, finance, law)
• Monitoring quality of translations provided by external translators and translation agencies
• Preparing style guides and terminology to ensure that products are localized correctly for the Polish market
• Maintenance of linguistic assets: translation memories (TMs), glossaries and style guides
• Coordination of large-scale multilingual translation projects for global customers (Dell, Microsoft, Philips, HP, Lenovo, Sony Ericsson) in cooperation with Lionbridge offices worldwide and external translation providers.
• Providing linguistic expertise to project managers and other company departments (bug fixing, query resolution, linguistic assets preparation)
• Post-editing of Machine Translation texts to improve MT engine
• Preparing and recording audio scripts using text-to-speech software to provide fast and cheap alternative to human voice-over
• Developing automated QA tools (Linguistic Toolbox) to improve translation quality
• Language process optimization by implementation of new tools and technical solutions (eg. implementation of machine translation or translation management system).
• Technical trainings (CAT tools, language QA Tools) for employees and external translators.

• Development and maintenance of online dictionary — creation of +75,000 entries containing terminology from various areas of specialisation such as law, banking, finance, economy, medicine, science, automotive.
