I think about what consciousness is all the time, but I'm not equipped to go far into it beyond the Easy Problem (Chalmers). I guess a lot of us aren't. Apparently, 500 million years of nerve electronics isn't long enough, beyond what it takes to be able to move to food and away from being food, and for brains that simulate reality.

One way of putting that question, What is it in me that gives me the feeling of what it's like to be a person, is something physiological in my reality, but beyond my intuition. I'll ask my brother's dog if it knows when I drop off some of this soup. :)

(your graphic things crack me up...the guy sliding...this firearm guy pulling the guy out in mid-air. It's like an entire two hour movie entertainment in 30 seconds, and I dig it). :)

We have a good and gentle Michal B., and, apparently, a different one from what I remember now.
