I kind of like Facebook, although it can suck you into a vortex of silly time-wasting activities...The useful thing is that it's a fun way of keeping in touch with people, just to write a quick note, announce some kind of event, post some photos etc.
The chat feature is good as well. You can do loads of stuff just on this one site.
NK on the other hand I found to be total pants....

I don't have Facebook. I did for a time. One thing is for sure to my mind. People who use that on a daily basis will never lose a sewing needle or a contact lens. What an amazing visual scanning and visual processing exercise. :)

I like FB. I think it is useful and it helps me to keep in touch with my friends from all over the world. Some features are annoying but nothing is perfect ;)

I find it's really useful for keeping up with the latest news from my friends -like a girl I haven't seen since university has just removed 'pancakes' from her favourite foods! You can't find that on TVN24!

And I just can't get myself to update it more often. I did update it, or it was updated with my running activities lately, but who cares. Nobody comments on that anyway. But it's kind of a cosy feeling, there is something with that enormous functionality APIs and interfaces.
