• Contributing to the provision of QA support and advice to OPS staff to ensure the correct implementation and performance of operations activities in accordance with EUMETSAT's Management System and all relevant OPS procedural documentation,
• Following selected operational activities, attending relevant operations meetings and identifying any aspects of concern of processes / QA relevance,
• Reviewing OPS procedural documentation (procedures, guides, working practices, etc), ensuring consistency with the OPS documentation library in general and with the document conventions in use,
• Providing assistance / guidance in the definition and implementation of processes to members of OPS
• Support assessments of OPS processes and service reviews, recommending improvements where appropriate,
• Establishing, maintaining, analysing and reporting on metrics which provide insight into selected OPS processes and/or operational services,
• Support Risk Management activities in accordance with the OPS Risk Management Plan: organising and advising risk reviews, maintaining risk registers, following up mitigation actions and producing reports information.

• Ten years of experience in Product Assurance and Quality Assurance in aerospace/space environment (avionics hardware, flight test instrumentation, ruggedized/high speed airborne data acquisition hardware) within Production Department.
• Senior Quality Assurance Engineer, within the business unit as part of Operations responsible for all quality aspects of product manufacturing, test, integration in line with company quality policy.
• Responsible for quality documentation procedures/plans/templates within the production department and product compliance to the contractual, AS/EN9100 requirements
• Monitoring performance of internal processes and quality metrics and presenting findings and recommendations to the management; member of management quality review board;
• Developing standards, specifications, internal work instructions for internal and external use and ensuring contractual requirements are flow down to suppliers/subtiers.
• Representing Operations in AS9100 regulatory surveillance and compliance audits and customer visits.
• Performing external and internal AS9100/ISO9100/customer level audits (compliance, 2nd tier, process auditing);
• Interfacing with customers, vendors, suppliers and various company departments (at all levels) to resolve quality problems and provide support to ongoing projects or new developments;
• Reviewing and evaluating complex in-process rejections and implementing corrective actions as needed;
• Working closely with Subcontractors and Suppliers to ensure defect rates are monitored and reduced;
• Responsible to generate Supplier Quality Agreement for various types of suppliers to ensure applicable quality requirements are captured and delegated.
• Responsible for managing internal and external corrective actions including compiling final reports to aerospace and space bounded customers (SpaceX, Penny&Giles, etc.);
• Selecting independent test laboratories, defining test scopes and requesting industrial non-destructive and destructive product analysis, assessing results, reviewing external reports (cross-section, cleanliness test, adhesion test, solderability tests, etc) to assist in developing and executing action plans for continuous improvements;
• Support Operations Quality Assurance for Space bounded projects IXV Intermediate eXperimental Vehicle reporting to PA Engineer & Airborne Digital Hardware (EFDMU Enhanced Flight Data Management Unit) in line with EASA (European Aviation Safety Agency) Part-21, subpart G regulations.
• Hardware Manufacturing & Quality Assurance POC to PA&S Engineers and Space bounded projects: supporting PA Eng providing conclusions and recommendations on processes. Supporting delegations of applicable requirements to relevant suppliers (flow down through the supply chain).
• Working closely with Project Manager to ensure applicable design, manufacturing, test & EASA requirements are flowed down to subcontractors/suppliers as applicable.
• Assisting project manager compiling product manufacturing plan within the scope of the MC-21 project from EEE parts procurement to final shipment: establishing sequential operations, quality assurance activities and records completion, producing internal/external documentation such procedures, work instructions, forms, quality templates, etc.
• Performing First Article Inspection (FAI including final report) in accordance with AS9102 standard. Reviewing external FAIR for completeness and accuracy. Carrying out FOD (Foreign Object Debris) and product final inspections for finished articles including photographic records.
• Controlling NCRs and Production permits. Completing FRACAS and reporting status to aerospace customer.
• Monitoring manufacturing, integration and test activities of the avionics hardware (at the level of system build), witness the implementation of special assembly instructions and performing quality assurance audits as part of MC-21 project.
• Interfacing with customers, vendors and various company departments to resolve quality issues, as part of NBR holding the authority of the disposition of the Non-conformances and product failures. As deputy, producing meeting minutes to NBR participants including meeting objective(s), participants, actions and status.
• Supporting assessments and qualifications of supplier/subcontractor in line with company QMS or project requirements (EASA Part 21, subpart G).
• Providing internal training to production staff on process changes, inspection techniques/methods, workmanship standards, FOD awareness, etc.
• Working closely with design engineers and supporting hardware engineers to ensure quality of design right first time.
• With Master IPC Trainer supporting IPC organization to improve workmanship standard by providing inputs, pictorial reports, technical expertise to the industry.
